Denis' Roots

Born in the Flour Mill and raised in Alban, I spent most of my childhood with my parents helping in the family convenience store.  This is where I got my first taste for having my own little enterprise.  I spent 3 years in the military and married Christine, my high school sweetheart.  We spent  7 years in North Bay before moving to Oshawa.  For the next 9 years I worked different positions within Johnson & Johnson in Peterborough and Markham.  That is where I acquired experience working within a major company.  Luckily, I worked with some great people and added many new business skills to my toolbox.  I will always be greatfull to my friends at J&J!  Then Brigitte, Zacharie and I convinced Christine that it was time to come back home and enjoy some time with our aging parents. Christine and I decided to purchase the book store and everything sort of fell into place.
